Consultation with
Katie Wine-Appleton, LPCC-S

Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here.

Being a consultant is genuinely one of the most meaningful and treasured parts of my work. There is something incredibly special about sitting alongside other therapists as they grow, wrestle with complexity, deepen their clinical intuition, and continue their own healing and professional evolution.

Consultation, to me, is not about performance, perfection, or proving yourself. It’s about creating a space where therapists can think out loud, feel supported, explore uncertainty, ask questions they may feel embarrassed to ask elsewhere, and become more deeply connected to themselves and their clients.

Whether we are discussing EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), clinical stuck points, or simply the emotional experience of being a therapist — I strive to create consultation spaces that are warm, relational, honest, thoughtful, and deeply human.

You do not have to have everything figured out here.

You are welcome exactly as you are.

A Little About Me

I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory Endorsement (LPCC-S) in Ohio, a Certified EMDR Therapist and EMDRIA Approved Consultant, and a Certified Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapist and IFS Institute Approved Clinical Consultant.

Over the past 23+ years, I’ve worked extensively with trauma, dissociation, attachment wounds, and complex clinical presentations — while also developing a deep love for mentoring and supporting fellow therapists.

In addition to my therapy practice, I provide consultation to therapists across the United States and internationally, facilitate workshops through my continuing education company, Multiplicity of the Mind Learning Center, support clinicians pursuing EMDR and IFS certification, and serve as a coach and consultant within EMDR Basic training programs.

But beyond all the titles and credentials, I’m simply someone who deeply values authentic connection, curiosity, humility, and the ongoing unfolding that happens when therapists are given space to be fully human too.
