Multiplicity of the Mind Learning Center, operating as a sole proprietor LLC, specializes in delivering impactful workshops centered around the theories of multiplicity of the mind, particularly Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy, Ego State Therapy, and structural dissociation. The organization is committed to extending the reach of these therapeutic modalities to a wider community of healing professionals, particularly those seeking to integrate Internal Family Systems into their clinical practice.
In my workshops, I aim to provide:
- Small & Intimate: I prioritize creating an intimate learning environment to facilitate meaningful interactions and personalized experiences.
- Interactive: My workshops are not just lectures but active learning experiences that engage participants and encourage participation.
- Nurturing: I foster a nurturing space where participants can explore their inner worlds and learn how to integrate IFS principles into their clinical practice.
- Self-Exploration: Through the lens of the 8 C’s of Self Energy (compassion, curiosity, clarity, confidence, creativity, connectedness, courage, and calmness), participants gain deeper insights into their internal systems.
- CE Credits: I prioritize CE accreditation for my workshops. I seek approval from the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist (CSWMFT) Board and the IFS Institute to provide comprehensive CE credits. I can also assist participants in determining if my workshops meet their state board licensure requirements, including post-approval. I can provide basic information, including my resume, course description, course objectives, and a timetable, which can be valuable for participants in seeking board approval.

- Billing Management: Leave the financial details to me, ensuring hassle-free payment processing for your participants.
- Advertising Support: I understand the importance of promoting your workshop. I’m here to assist you with advertising via email and social media. Additionally, I will supply materials to help you promote the workshop within your own network.
- Continuing Education (CE): I understand that providing Continuing Education (CE) credits that have been approved by various licensing boards is important to participants. That’s why I go the extra mile to ensure that your workshop meets the requirements for CE accreditation. I conduct thorough research to identify which licensing boards and organizations your specific workshop may qualify for, ensuring that the participants receive the credits they need. I understand that collecting the necessary documentation for CE approval can seem overwhelming. That’s why I provide guidance and support to trainers by offering a list of required items and assisting them every step of the way. My aim is to streamline the process, making it as straightforward as possible.
- Day-of Zoom Tech Support: I understand the importance of a smooth virtual experience. I am here to provide real-time support, monitoring the chat, and facilitating breakout rooms for small group activities. Katie Wine-Appleton, LPCC-S, is a Certified IFS and EMDR Therapist based in Columbus, Ohio, known for her ability to wear many hats in the mental health field. With a career spanning over 20 years, Katie has established herself as a trusted professional, excelling in diverse roles as a private practice psychotherapist, approved consultant in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and workshop facilitator. It has been her deepest honor to help train the next generation of IFS and EMDR therapists, which prompted her to found Multiplicity of the Mind Learning Center. Through this endeavor, Katie aims to share the transformative power of IFS with more healing professionals, empowering them to bring forth their own Self Energy into their clinical practices and into the world.
When she is not immersed in her professional endeavors, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and their beloved cat, Shinobi, unwinding by watching psychological thrillers, collecting crystals, and rescuing betta fish from cramped quarters. She embraces a profound connection with her ancestors, recognizing the valuable gifts they bestowed upon her, and actively seeks to understand and honor her lineage.
