Workshop Code of Conduct
This Code of Conduct applies to all individuals participating in, facilitating, presenting at, or otherwise involved in workshops organized by Multiplicity of the Mind Learning Center (“Participants”).
Multiplicity of the Mind Learning Center is dedicated to creating a respectful, inclusive, and harassment-free learning environment for everyone. We welcome all individuals but have zero tolerance for certain behaviors.
Unacceptable Behaviors Include:
- Verbal aggression or confrontational behaviors
- The use or display of sexually explicit imagery in workshop spaces or materials
- Acts of intimidation, stalking, or harassment (including online harassment)
- Unauthorized sharing or recording of content
- Persistent interruption or causing continuous disturbances during workshop activities
- Unsolicited sexual advances
- Neglecting the impact of one’s actions or words on individuals from marginalized communities
- Ongoing difficulty collaborating within group activities, including resistance to engaging in constructive dialogue or repair efforts with fellow participants despite facilitator intervention
- Continued engagement in disruptive or aggressive behaviors after facilitator guidance or intervention
- Promoting or supporting any of the behaviors listed above
Multiplicity of the Mind Learning Center reserves the right to take suitable action, including removal from the event or legal steps, for violations of this Code of Conduct. No refunds will be provided.
Confidentiality Agreement for Workshops:
Our Continuing Education programs are designed for educational advancement and are not therapy sessions. Experiences and information shared by participants during these workshops are for educational purposes and should be treated as confidential. However, these discussions are not legally protected under state or federal privacy laws. Participants must refrain from sharing any personal details or discussions outside the workshop environment, including with non-participants, without explicit consent from the individuals involved.
Respect for privacy extends to small group discussions, breakout sessions, or practice groups. Conversations about a participant’s input should stay within the workshop’s confines unless permission for external discussion has been granted.
Disclosure of confidential information may become necessary if non-disclosure could lead to harm or violate ethical or legal duties. In such instances, safety and compliance with legal standards take precedence. Participants should be familiar with and adhere to the confidentiality guidelines of their respective professional and licensing bodies.
By engaging in Multiplicity of the Mind Learning Center’s workshops, Participants commit to upholding these conduct and confidentiality standards, ensuring a supportive and effective learning environment for all. While Multiplicity of the Mind Learning Center asks participants to honor these expectations, it cannot legally guarantee that other participants will maintain confidentiality.
