Workshop Recording Policy
At Multiplicity of the Mind Learning Center, we recognize the value of recording workshop sessions for educational purposes. Therefore, we have established the following policy regarding workshop recordings:
- Any workshop that will be recorded will be clearly stated on the workshop website and registration form;
- Some workshops may be recorded for the purpose of developing Asynchronous Distance Learning, self-paced courses available for future purchase. If a workshop is being recorded for this purpose, that will be clearly stated during registration;
- The primary focus of all recordings will be on the presenter and their shared materials. Breakout room sessions will not be recorded;
- Participants’ video and audio will not be included in any home study content unless written permission has been given;
- Participants who wish to avoid being recorded are encouraged to keep microphones off during recorded portions of the session;
- All workshop sessions will be recorded and made available for viewing purposes by participants only for a duration of 60 days after the workshop concludes
- Scope of Participant Consent: Participants’ consent to be recorded is limited to access via the Multiplicity of the Mind Learning Center platform for personal review and/or CE purposes, as applicable. Recordings will not be used for any other commercial, promotional, or educational purposes outside this platform unless participants provide additional, specific written consent.
- Recorded content is intended for personal use only and may not be used for any commercial, teaching, or other training purposes;
- Trainer Responsibility for Additional Use: Trainers may request recordings for their own use. By requesting such recordings, trainers acknowledge that participants’ consent was limited to the Licensee’s platform and agree to assume full responsibility for any additional use, including obtaining any necessary participant consents. Multiplicity of the Mind Learning Center is released from any liability related to participant consent for uses outside the platform.
- Workshop content, including recorded sessions, is considered confidential and should not be shared with individuals who have not participated in the workshop, nor recorded by a participant;
- All intellectual property rights related to the workshop content, including the recording, remain solely with the trainer(s). Multiplicity of the Mind Learning Center does not have ownership of the recording or any related materials (e.g., slides, handouts). Instead, the trainer(s) may grant Multiplicity of the Mind a licensing agreement that permits the recording to be hosted on its Asynchronous Distance Learning platform for future access, CE distribution, and promotional use, as mutually agreed upon.
- While we strive for technical excellence, participants acknowledge that technical issues may occur during the recording process and Multiplicity of Mind is not responsible for any disruptions or loss of content;
- Continuing Education (CE) credits are only awarded for live participation (Synchronous Distance Learning), unless the course is explicitly listed and approved as a Recorded Asynchronous Distance Learning CE course. If a course qualifies for Recorded Asynchronous Distance Learning CE credit, this will be clearly stated on the workshop website and registration page. Watching a recording of a live workshop does not qualify for CE credit unless the course has been officially listed as an Recorded Asynchronous Distance Learning offering that meets all CE requirements, which also require the successful completion of a post-workshop test.
